Swiss Cottage School, New Delhi
'From bustling cities to serene villages, the spirit of India resides in every heart. Let's raise our voice, join our hands to build a stronger nation' Swiss Cottage School, Bijwasan, New Delhi, celebrated the 75th Republic Day with great patriotic zeal and fervour. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the tricolour by revered Chairperson Mrs Raj Dagar and Principal Mrs Neena Thimmaya. It was accompanied by the National Anthem.
The patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning as everyone was permeated with the feeling of pride and love for the country. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and incredible dance performances. The school ground reverberated with patriotic fervour. The diverse culture was brought to life through a medley and classical dance performance by the primary and the middle wing students. The students also paid homage to the martyrs and urged to work for the country's betterment, to be responsible citizens and to follow the path of peace, harmony, unity and progress. The air was rent with the slogans of 'Jai Hind' and 'Bharat Mata ki Jai’. The patriotic fervour permeated all those who were present on the occasion. The Principal in her address exhorted the students to be faithful in their service and to protect and safeguard the nation. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
