The topic at hand was ‘Environmental Sustainability Goals for Schools’, and she articulately essayed the role of Swiss Cottage School, in reducing the carbon footprint by various means like, solar panels, rainwater harvesting, tree plantation drives, recycling and avoidance of single use plastics to name a few. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the tricolour by revered Chairperson Mrs Raj Dagar and Principal Mrs Neena Thimmaya. It was accompanied by the National Anthem. The patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning as everyone was permeated with the feeling of pride and love for the country.
