Amidst
sparkling lights and a myriad of hues, The Annual Function for the
session 2023-24 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm at Swiss Cottage
School, New Delhi on Monday, 11th December, 2023.
The theme of the programme “TRYST WITH DESTINY” , included a series of thematic performances.
A galaxy of dignitaries graced the occasion. Esteemed
Chief Guest Mr. J.P Dalal (Agricultural Minister of Haryana), School
Trustee Mr. Virender Dagar , Chairperson Mrs. Raj Dagar, Vice
Chairperson Mr Amit Chaudhary & Mrs. Karishma Chaudary , Director
Mr Arun Dagar , Creative Director Mrs Tanu Sansanwal and Principal Mrs
Neena Thimmaya , presided over the function.
The
programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the
Chief Guest, members of the management, the Principal and the
Coordinators followed by scintillating welcome song by the school choir.
To honour the unwavering pursuit of excellence, the students were
felicitated in various categories. The Award ceremony was held amidst
joy, cheer and applause from the audience.

3. 6 Alumni were felicitated with Appreciation letters.

Students who had showcased exemplary behavior and the students who had
maintained full attendance during the academic year 2023-24 were
presented with Certificates.
5. The Certificate of appreciation were awarded to teachers for full attendance.

Members of the school faculty were also acknowledged and felicitated
for their prodigious efforts. They were bestowed with The Achievers
Award.
The
main highlights of the programme were the Kargil war act, Parmanu
Dance, Act on Mangal Mission and Uri. The sequence of events, woven
into an intricate story, took everyone into flashback and proudly
reflected on India’s achievements and accomplishments post independence.
The enthralling performances by the students left everyone spellbound.
The
Principal Mrs. Neena Thimmaya, in her Annual Report, proudly
highlighted the institution’s achievements and milestones over the past
year. The Chief Guest in his address to the distinguished gathering
congratulated the school management and the staff on the stupendous
success of the students. He expressed his appreciation at the
achievements that have been garnered by the school. He acknowledged the
role the school has played in equipping its alumni with requisite
skills to rise high in life. He hoped that the school would continue on
its path to success and achieve higher glory.
The
jubilant event ended with a vote of thanks by Head Boy Vedansh Rana and
Head Girl Subhanshi Dobhal . The function culminated with the rendition
of the National Anthem.
